Dropped laptop - Windows 7 will not start

Dropped laptop - Windows 7 will not start

Computer - notebook - HP pavilion m6 computer

Operating System - Windows Home Premium

Unfortunately I dropped this computer from a height of 4 feet after closing it down.

Since them startup is impossible.

I started the "Repair the computer option " - this appears to start but then hangs indefinitely.

Al the other options  safe mode , safe mode with networking , etc including "start windows normally" fail to start and all return to "Repair the computer" which again hangs indefinitely.

I attemped to obtain the recovery option by powering up the computer and pressing F12 repeatly before the windows logo appears.

The words system recovery appear but I am again taken back to the "Repair the Computer" option which again hangs indefinitely.

Any advice please - the situation appears hopeless.?

Regards

Flynne

I ran a disk check and all sectors seem undamaged.

I am very lucky to get away with this.
